Can't say that I have. I didn't know that he threw down a version of that song. How's the arrangement? Where can I hear it? I love Izzy's simple chord progressions with the minor and suspended chords thrown in for that 'emotionally true' seasoning. Soulfully tasty nibblet that leaves me hungry for more. His version is vulnerable love.

Well put. I wish he had played with the melody a little, but I understand why he didn't. I did expect a more ethereal arrangement from him (which he delivered) and I was very pleased with his use of dissonant intervals. He's never overbearing as many are when they try too hard. I see this song being great company in those despondent times, when you need to see the beauty in things without it being forced. You know? Which leads me to be thankful for the long absence of such emotional funks in my life. Thanks for sharing that Merz.[75] It was a treat and has been bookmarked.
