i adore korines fanzinez.....rodriguez who does it with korine prints these fanzines at kinkos on astor place...i saw him once pickin them up and felt like im wittnessing some important whatever blah blah blah...

Feel myself coming into another Russian phase... Just starting on Notes from the Underground.
I really need to start learning Russian properly, I've got the Nicholas J Brown russian course book, but haven't knuckled down. Someone start what language are you learning today???

That's a really good beginner Russian book -- been trying to find equivalents for other languages.

I finished Cormac McCarthy's The Road earlier this week, and I admittedly liked it much better than Blood Meridian. Still had those overwrought McCarthyisms that grate on heavily on my soul, but it was still an engaging read. Sometimes, he's as subtle as the craters on the moon.Life is a hiiighway
