Oh, I think you're right. I only go to Union Square for my tailor and the Archive. I haven't even walked by the space in ... a long time. My error.

Archive for men's, like you said, and for women's, Cielo or Susan are not bad. sounds like you got food covered! though, if you don't already have plans, a Saturday morning at the Ferry plaza farmer's market is a good breakfast option. and Saison is incredible if you'd like another high-end meal. plenty of good, solid dining options around but I can't think of much else that's an absolute must-do.

Go to Tartine in Mission and sample their baked goodies. Are you going with M? If so, yes to Susan. If not, no to Susan. Cielo should now have women's Paul Harnden. If you are still interested in CdG you should check out M.A.C. - it's a cute store and the owners are lovely - CdG, Junya, Dries, along with some more hipster gear. And they are in a very cute area in Hayes Valley, which is worth a stroll. And you have to see the Cathedral of St. Mary - inside and out - a real architectural masterpiece.

And if you go to the Ferry building for the market (which you should), you should have breakfast at Frog Hollow Farm and bring back a bag of granola from there. :-)

Kind of late to be posting this, but went by there today looking for holiday gifts. Spoke to Bessie (who is very kind and gregarious) and it doesn't seem like they do carry Harnden; in her words, "sometimes [they] carry Elena Dawson."

Still very much worth a visit, though.

Interesting - the owner told me last spring that they are getting it. I guess it did not pan out after all.

Sui Generis is a consignment store in Castro (near Maas & Stacks) that has good stuff. I've found some Yohji, Viridi-Anne, Soloist, N(N) there. The staff is also incredibly helpful.

Also they had OG Prada creepers! Slept on that :/

                          hey guys,

looking for a good cobbler / tailor in SF area. Also if anyone can recommend a spot for bespoke shirting and suiting that would be much appreciated!

                          cheers
