u know what this is an awesome idea , i actually been thinkin of gettin a custom made for me to the dimensions i want for a long while , where in maine is he ? thats the one place ive wanted to visit for so long but none of my friends want to go , they always wanna do somethin fancy for trips like morocco so i never went cos i didnt wanna go alone but ive been givin serious consideration to just goin next summer on my own and this is kinda the icing on the cake . i collect travel guides and my favs are the ones on maine , when i took up learning to paint with watercolors lighthouses and chromatic dragons were my fav to paint

I watched Pretty Sweet today.

I couldn't sit through it. Maybe more telling of my age than anything else. But most of it isn't vaguely appealing even.

Enjoyed the alex olson et al part, and always love to watch marc johnson. wish there was more gino ianucci.

Mariano's part seemed to have a bunch of references to his older parts -> but now him doing more ridiculous things at the same spots (videos days rail?) but still not my thing.

mostly enjoy watching gilette these days i guess...

anyways, are people crazy about this video? peasant?

EDIT: love that m.johnson part has been exciting to watch since the planet earth days...so good.

I've watched it quite a few times. Definitely next level skating and production value but that doesn't equate to a video I put in regularly. I think some of it has to do with the new guys having a bulk of the footage in it. They rip, but so does everybody. I did really like Corey Kennedy's part. MJ's part was good, as were the montages. Classic Ty with too much slow-mo, though I think they pulled off the over production better here than fully flared. Fun to watch but give me one of the Static vids any day.

i completely agree. pretty sweet has some moments, particularly MJ. he's one of the only people who can make super tech skating look interesting. i can't wait for static 4.

also, i got a line a few weeks ago. first thing i've filmed since i moved to england three years ago.

Just watched PS again. I gotta say it might be a game changer as far as the level of production goes. They really nailed it. And the front filming is crazy. Gives a totally new perspective.
It doesn't have a distinct theme but it flows. The amount of amazing skating is hard to keep up with and things like the Jack Black footage can distract from that. It's not gritty and I like gritty. But it's fun to watch and I love how depicts what a close team they are. I'm sick of videos where everyone is shooed from the background.
