I had a similar set up in college when I lived in an old church with my bandmates. we had this whole industrial vibe going, shipping pallets for bed frames, old copper pipes for clothing racks etc.

the concrete blocks crumble and leave an absolute mess. give a great look though

Combining the kitchen with the bathroom really used to be a thing in Germany (was it like that anywhere else?). I still don´t get it.

Mirrors really work. We put a HUGE mirror in a nook of my girlfriend's studio apartment and it makes a noticeable difference by reflecting the length of the apartment.

Unfortunately, the only thing the medium sized mirror in our bathroom reflects is the person sitting on the toilet.
