i believe with exhaust pipes they use mandrel bending which involves putting something inside of the pipe as well, but its some sort of tool.

either way, good luck with this project. bending pipe is a headache.

Lushpad kinds sucks IMHO. Don't fall into the 1997 trap and buy more than a few mid century modern pieces. You will regret it. And I speak from personal experience.
It takes variety of course but latelt ive been partial to industrial antique...like gregorysantiques.com ish.

                He is based in London,Uk.
i think i gave his website up top.
“This may sound strange, but… Have I somehow changed? Moments ago, from some place, perhaps deep within, I sensed a liberation from heavy shackles. Not that I would know… How passing strange…”

Shoot him an email,he is very efficient.

I just bought a house, and this thread is fantastic.

My house is 140m2, and practically empty apart from a couch and bed. Some great ideas here! :)

                    I like those lights.

Finally, something to go with your old Margiela sandals that doesn't make you look like you're trying too hard.

                      Pedrali Lab, 428.

Trying not to spend money on the house, but really loving this sofa. My boyfriend hates it though. I can't help it, I love tufting.

                        Too bad it's 12k!

Yeah, 12 grand is a bit much with the current economic situation.
You can get some decent, original sofas close to this for the time being instead of opting for an original for that price.
This one is $400....it's vinyl but aesthetically, it's a nice looking original piece from the era.

Overland is a good name for sofas.
But just check your area's Ebay listings for Danish sofa or space age sofa and I bet you can find something visually comparable in the meantime for under a grand easily.

There's good design, there's great design...but 12 grand for a sofa that will suffer through a huge amount of wear and tear (especially if you have pets or kids) is kind of insane when there are comparable items out there for around $400-$800.
Overland did make several with tufting and if taken care of properly, the vinyl can be comfortable and last a fairly long time.

like doldrum, I too am moving from a (relatively - by nyc standards) spacious brooklyn home into a place almost half the size. As a result I need to get rid of a bunch of furniture in the next 2 weeks including an eames surfboard coffee table - at 90" long it's really too big for my new living room. I have an authentic white one for sale for 50% less than retail if anyone here is interested..

More importantly, I need to find a new one - suggestions are welcome. It's gotta be small - the room's 14' x 15'. I was thinking maybe medium saarinen coffee white / grey marble top?
