I have a few pieces, some prototypes, and am awaiting some custom marble lights!

check out his site,or you can buy from this online store

just go to the lighting section.
Prices are very good considering all the products are handmade.

You can get some decent, original sofas close to this for the time being instead of opting for an original for that price.
This one is $400....it's vinyl but aesthetically, it's a nice looking original piece from the era.

Overland is a good name for sofas.
But just check your area's Ebay listings for Danish sofa or space age sofa and I bet you can find something visually comparable in the meantime for under a grand easily.

There's good design, there's great design...but 12 grand for a sofa that will suffer through a huge amount of wear and tear (especially if you have pets or kids) is kind of insane when there are comparable items out there for around $400-$800.
Overland did make several with tufting and if taken care of properly, the vinyl can be comfortable and last a fairly long time.

Is there a reproduction of this desk or is it unavailable to man?

The thing with georgiosis work is that he uses very industrial materials and takes them out of their original context. Aswell as using alot of materials that he finds.
The underlying idea of his work is "play".
As he has a very child like enthusiasm about his work.Aswell as the little poems that go with each of his lights.
Having known him for many years and have spent hours talking with him,i can truly say he is possibly one of the most inspiring and creative people i know!
Everything is done by him, from website, photography, manufacturing, promotion etc etc
he is an artisan in his own right.Aswell as a conceptualist.

I know. It's so provoking how it looks like DIY projects as well. Of course it's close to impossible to achieve the same finish.
