Casius, don't forget an Odd Nerdrum painting for your wall:
(speaking of, I was wondering why Rick Owen's fall 07 headwear looked strangely familiar...)

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."
Went to their website. They've expanded the concept into large "pillow" seats. They're large enough that the outside is meant to slowly become crumpled and dented from sitting while the interior honeycomb design will retain the rigidity of the structure. Very cool! No prices listed (have to e-mail them... leads me to believe it'll be out of control pricing as design house furniture tends to be).

They're made from cardboard and the newer versions have magnets on the outer edges to bring them together firmly!

in the furniture design class of some of the interior design courses i've seen there was an assignment where you would need to build a chair (that can be sat on) out of cardboard. pretty cool project imo.
Fuuma, I dont have a direct suggestion for you, but you should check out Les Comissaires on St-Laurent. They stock super nice things (they had one of those Bless furhammocks, for 7000$!!). They work by themes, kinda like a gallery, so it changes really often.
I'm looking for some interestingbookcases, any suggestions?

Fuuma, what's your budget?

Right now, with my money already taken by my new LCD TV and furniture purchases pretty much $0 (could probably go as high as $5) so this more to know what is around, feel free to post many price points and I'll set my goal according to what I like and can realistically purchase....

Now that I'm about to get my own place (at last!) this thread comes in handy. How do people feel about a thread somewhat similar to "what are you wearing today", but featuring pictures of people's apartments? It would be great inspiration, but are rooms too 'private'?

Oh, and whoever posted MvdR's Barcelona-chair - I've been wanting it for a while now. If you're lucky you can get one at an 'low' price at auctions. I wonder if I'll be lucky any time soon! :-)
