Norwegian design
If you guys are into norwegian designs from the 50s and 60s -
"Fuglen", a coffe shop in Oslo sells vintage furniture - gathered by one of the owners, Peppe.
A truly unique place in Oslo, should anyone ever visit us here in the north...
Tyler Brule from of Monocle loves it so much - the entire Monocle staff flew over to have their X-mas office party at "Fuglen"...
Even the Primeminister stops by everynow and then..

^ Co-sign on the Fuglen praise. It's my regular coffee place and easily the nicest café/cocktail bar in Oslo.
Btw, they're planning on opening up shop in Tokyo and NYC in 2012. Hopefully they'll manage to recreate what they've done in Oslo.

Swedes - I'm looking for the website of this one store, possibly in stockholm, that sells and rents antiques. I can't remember the name, all I can think of is that it seemed like a small place, and they specifically rented their stock, and it was more or less industrial antiques."AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."

Modernity specialises in the collection and sale of rare and high-grade furniture, ceramics, glass, lighting and jewellery by the most renowned Scandinavian designers of the 20th Century.
Do You know where in Stockholm it is? If so I could probably figure out which one You mean.

looking for a set of modern overly-large/spacious sitting chairs. currently envisioning something like the coconut chairs, but with a larger backrest for more lounging perhaps. To severely restrict my options i'm looking for something quite affordable though so no big name designers unless you expect me to get a chinese knockoff.
or perhaps something like this with softer materials.

I've been looking for some floor pillows / cushions since pretty much everything in my room is really low the ground so I figured I'd continue the theme and get a low table and some cushions. I ran across these incredible looking shibori-dyed ones but they're no longer available.
Would be extremely appreciative of anyone whose got suggestions for floor seating or seen anything along these lines (maybe in japan?). Thanks!

An example: from ebay.
If you take care to find textiles that don't have to ship from Japan, you'll pay next to nothing ($.99-$10) per large piece.
Post your pillows if you find or have them made!
