What I cannot seem to find is a place where you can get interesting images with links to products. A clear business opportunity there...

I particularly like this CT based furniture company BassamFellows. They've been around a while and recently opened a gallery in Milan. They claim to blend industrial and artisanal techniques and call their approach "craftsman modern." Not sure how I feel about their relationship to Bally and their exploration of other areas of luxe-lifestyle design, but their furniture pieces are really amazing. Paneled leather upholstery reminds me of MA+ , perhaps thats why I like it.

There is a thing at Barneys Saturday for those Kvadrat collabs. Frankly, I did not pay much attention, even though Helmut Lang is one of the collaborators. I guess I'm just not into rugs.

I'm not so sure I agree--would hate to treat the home as an extension of my social armor. I prefer to dwell in a space where I can attempt to step outside the simulacrum, or at least peel back a few layers.
