        must see.
OMG ! Saw "Letters from a dead man" a long time ago when it was released, and was very impressed, but I didn't see it again, since his movies are hardly available.
Saw another one, but I don't remember the title (end scene, a man is hawling in the middle of a nowhere garbage place) and it was less interesting.
Never thought that anybody else would know him...

LMAO @ the "Johnny D." titling...I've seen some pretty funny translations of Hollywood films to fit overseas contexts, but that one takes the whole cake and snarfs it.

to this day i haven't seen that movie in its entirety...i remember that summer, was the year NBK and Pulp Fiction came out and there I was thinking I wanted to be 8 years older so I could watch those in theaters. Also the first time I saw Uma on her stomach with ankles crossed in those heels hand on a firearm was an unforgettable childhood milestone.

edit- the hand was not on the gun! so goes selective memory...

Yesterday attended the premiere of BRUNO: vulgar and shocking but amazingly funny....I was truly wettening myself throughout the entire film. A great no-brainer and one of the most confronting comedies I've ever seen.

I want to see this but filed under "Movies that never see the theater dark of day in Hong Kong" along with: Any Judd Apatow related vehicles within six degrees, anything with Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, you get the point...pretty stupid considering the local newspapers always talk about these things and people. Oh well, pretty sure I'd be one of 12 people who'd watch it anyway if it did.

Guess I'm gonna have to wait out for the DVD.
