[quote user="Faust"]Has anyone seen the alternative ending on the DVD of I Am Legend?

No why what Happens?

I don't know, that's why I am asking. I won't be tortured again unless someone tells me the alternative ending has nothing to do with this biblical jesus christ shit.

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
Watched Tarkovsky's Stalker again. It just never ceases to amaze. Also, watched Before Night Falls. My first Schnabel film. I thought it was really good, sensitive and human. Is The Diving Bell and the Butterfly worth watching?

Haven't seen it but i read somewhere that the original ending is more in tune with the book, where the "monsters"turn out to bethinking, feeling creatures who only want to save their buddy andit is in factMr Smith that is the "monster" - of their legends. Ergo: I am legend.

I would definitely recommend seeing it. Iwas very moved by the story and thought thecinematography was beautiful as well. If I remember correctly, I believe Johnny said he couldn't connect with the characters and found it to be so-so, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt, of course.

I did sbw, but i'd still recommend someone seeing it, to make their own mind up. it's not meritless by any stretch of the imagination. but i wasn't, personally, moved by it at all.

Saw two movies at the theaters this week - Reprise and Mongol.

I'd recommend seeing both, but for different reasons. Reprise is a fairly slow movie, but I thought the characters were consistent and interesting.

Mongol is in the epic category, but doesn't get bogged down on details and keeps things moving by focusing on the characters and not attempting to be larger than life.
Been watching movies nonstop all week while working on designs... mostly bad to mediocre but a couple of gems in there.

Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon- this one was a fun film that turned pretty cheesy near the end but a novel concept. A camera crew follows around a serial killer in the style of Jason, Freddy etc. and they talk at length about the horror movie genre etc in a very neat way. I recommend it!

Then I watched Botched which was beyond horrific (but has ever so sexy Jaime Murray in it) and then Before The Devil Knows You're Dead which had some heavy hitter actors but turned out to be a dud as they tried to do the whole Crash/Babel thing.
