Inland Empire. Gah. The fact that it was shot digital irks me. It just looked pedestrian as fuck, like some mumblecore bullshit. I don't know what to think about the film either. I'm glad I've seen it, but It'll take multiple viewings in order for me to actually understand anything, and as much as I love David Lynch, I'd rather watch other films I've yet to see than rewatch this 3 hour long film over and over.

Also watched John Frankenheimer's Seconds.
Mindblowing, and it's a shame that not many have even heard of it.

Nice choice, i really like Rohmer's films, in fact some weeks ago saw Von Trier's "The Five Obstructions" and in one of the segments appears the guy from "La Collectionneuse" and made me want to revisit the moral tales (once again).

I thought it was okay. not terrible, but not nearly the comeback it was supposed to be. anything this reliant on shock-tactics needs to be markedly more shocking.

So FH has a new movie out?, I'v been disappointed before with comebacks like Stuart Gordon's Dagon and shit like that so I'll stay away.

don't get me wrong, it's worth a look. at least it feels like a henenlotter flick, whereas dagon could have been absolutely anyone's direct to dvd b-grade horror.

yea. did some house cleaning today and found the dvd. decided to watch it again. the films are noticeably sleeker than i'm accustomed to. prefer the earlier generation of kren and kubelka.
nevertheless, outerspace has always been a piece of fun viewing :)
