just saw Kick-Ass, was fucking awesome. A pastiche of all the best things about adolescence that were at once corny and fond.

Watched Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. My God the movie is good. I can't wait for Micmacs to be released, that's gonna be something.

Micmacs was ok, but nothing special. Fantastic in terms of esthetics and cinematic style, of course, but pretty banal. I am supposed interview Jeunet later this month. Should be good.
