Did anyone watch Wim Wenders' new film on Pina Bausch? It's simply breathtaking in 3D.

Paris, Texas has the most gorgeous colors out of any film I've ever seen. Even if one isn't shooting movies, or just photographs or whatever, that film makes a good case for the obsolescence of black and white. Incidental, accidental, it's just there, what have you...life is to be seen in color.

this is worth a watch. I saw it in the theater when it was first released and watched it again last nite. it blew my mind 40 years ago and did so again yesterday

I agree, El Topo is incredible! I just grabbed a copy of the Blu-Ray release which was nice to see after only being able to watch a bad VHS copy.

Still very intrigued by Malick's "Tree of Life" as well. The imagery looks incredible, and the Smetana "Ma Vlast" score is just right. I've seen this trailer so many times now.
