So, I wandered around Lift for a long time checking out the CCP, and a lot of it was wonderful. The belt pictured here looks so cheap, I really didn't like it. That metal is thin stamped sheet steel, and the buckle assembly looks like something that a kid would put together from one of those kind of tinkertoyish kits.

The sole on the rubber band boots (like Lazzari has, not with the rubber band at the top) isn't quite a mocassin sole, but I still can't say I like it much.

I did a bad, bad thing, and my friend has fallen desperately in love with the off-white leather jacket with the robot elbows. oops.

are you sure you're referring to the same pants? the ones in the pic were definitely described to me as denim. (edit: i take this back, they were only described jeans, not necessarily denim.)

and apparently they're not as transparent when worn? you can rock them without tights, which is actually sort of a disappointment.

they're not useless. if its hot and you want to wear shorts but still look cool and feel cool they seem like they would work well, less formal than the zips...just paraphrasing a buddy of mine, after i said basically the same thing as you cas. although i hate the white in these..
