I would be afraid to wear them because the paper look so delicate. I'll just put these boots in a display case in my home if I buy a pair. [83]

these are so fucking dope. i wish i didn't pass on these when agent l sold them here, although they're probably too big for me. ;) i guess A only got 3 pairs of these paper derbys. if i remember correctly, he said that he burned off some of the paper on this particular pair.

btw, nice ccp boots and guidi bag.

the paper boots i posted were from a y!jp auction from a while ago. if i remember correctly they weren't for super cheap too. i didn't pick them up b/c i recently bought shoes, but now i kinda regret it. i think i posted them in the yes/no thread and everyone said no. haha.

you can flatten the bag out into a more conventional rectangular shape, which seems somewhat more practical

nevertheless, i would use the circle as a rug/wall piece and use the strap as a belt when not potato farming

off topic but related...wasn't there a thread somewhere that discussed the benefits of object dying vs working with already dye'd hides? I seem to remember but can't find it. Reason being someone asked me why its so great and I couldn't really give them an answer other than, they look dope and age amazingly.

Correct me if I?m wrong but object dying is a process where the item gets dyed or polished after the construction. Regular high quality leathers are aniline dyed while in hide form and the process means the skin colour is uniform and penetrates the lower layers of epidermis. Object-dyed leather is the same as crust leather and results in a less uniform colour that has less stability and is only on the surface of the item, hence the ensuing colour variation and striation through aging. Crust leather is usually polished but I?m not sure about how Poell does it.

I'm voting for the second one, just much more of a substantial glove. I can see those perf gloves being uncomfortable as well as losing it's shape over time.

Definitely Number two! I think you will be bored of the first ones after a short time. And the second ones match to almost every outfit, while the first ones are such eyecatchers that you have to think about combinations...
