Yeah that's a hot CCP leather jacket that Jude's wearing there... but it's definitely an earlier collection leather jacket (seen one on yahoo auctions actually). Pre-overlock stitching of that style of the leather jackets!
It's also a more supple leather than Carol has been using as of late.... as far as I know.
Sick piece!
...my CCP overlock just cleared US customs. Almost at my dad's place and then airmailed to me here in Berlin!
I wonder when will Atelier and other retailers have the new CCP boots collection this season. I am very much looking forward to it since he did not produce any last season.
CCP boots have always been my fave. I know some may defer ie Carpe Diem or the new Augusta.. but nevertheless, CCP boots holds a special place in my heart. [:)]
An interesting discovery today... at a womens consignment store my girlfriend noticed a pair of super long legged jeans that were hanging strangely.
She showed them to me and interestingly enough, they had the deep U shaped leg to them! Blue jeans, no rear pockets withthe EXACT U shaped leg of the CCP jeans this season! Too bad they were way too thin for me.
Makes me wonder if Carol came up with the idea or took it from an obscure brand....
I agree, the boots are nice, but the shoes really average.
most importantly for me in the boot design is the curvature of the zipper, to some this might be irrelevent, but It allows you an easier access in putting the boots on.
I have a pair of Dries Van notens, that i love, but hardly ever wear because i have to fight too much with them to put them on.............

Yes, that's why my favorite boot design is actually a combination of laces and zippers. I like the laced up look better (I just think it looks better covered by a jean or a pant leg), but it's easier to use zippers for sure.
