Actually thinking about the black ones next to them in the SZ picture. Staton, I'm inferring from the fact that you conspicuously overlooked them in your response that you wouldn't endorse purchasing the black boots...

I haven't had the opportunity to handle them in person so I'm trying to remotely figure out if they would be a worthwhile investment given the concerns over the rubber bands endurance.

Do you think that is endemic of the quality of all the rubber band boots, or was that an isolated incident?

/\ Mine are holding up perfectly. My experience with the boots has been nothing but a positive one. Goodyear welt/perf.soles baby!

I think they can be worn well, but the rubber band troubles me as well. It's one of the reasons I didn't end up pulling the trigger on the white ones myself (plus my size was not to be found.).

Maybe Jon could weigh in here... He recently got the white pair.

the thing is its probably not a f/w coat, probably just add to your chill bill

for women are slim now
