I apologise if this has been mentioned or is not new info but I was talking to the Library guys a few days ago and new 'single season' CCP will start coming in around February. They didn't say how many pieces or the timing of subsequent pieces. I imagine that due to Carol's closeness with many of his retailers it might be based on sale success alongside seasonal relevance, short sleeved shirts nearer summer for instance, though that's not confirmed.
I do have a question regarding the Augusta debacle. Again, I'm unsure if this has been mentioned but Carol sent out an email to anyone who buys from him, stating clearly that he did not want Augusta pieces sold in the same shops as his work; something of a warning shot. Do you guys know of any fallout or bad blood regarding those retailers that sold both together, like Atelier? It's unlikely Carol would withdraw from Atelier altogether, but perhaps their buy will be limited, or was it hot air on Carol's part?Last edited by Kir; 01-04-2009, 05:00 PM.

That's pretty bizarre. Why would he worry about this? He is the innovator - why punish retailers?Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

Was at INA men today, saw a CCP pullover, blazery thing there... I'm not too informed on CCP so I'm not even going to try to name it... it's like a grey very soft (cashmere-y) blazer looking thing without buttons and a kangaroo pocket... in case anyone is interested
