There is also a pair of asymmetric drop crotch pants that I think are fantastic. They have a long rise, cut very full but wear slim from just above the knee down. Kind of strikes me as an iteration of a couple of pieces he did in 07. His trousers for the season are really nice, but I think that the asymmetric construction..i.e..angled fly and seams through the seat, offset pockets...might be too much for most(?).

I feel the same way! I hope he at least did a video or something again so we can enjoy it in a pure, not in a retail environment, stage.

I hear you pnd. The work really needs to be seen in its pure state and handled in person, to be fully appreciated. This is like a stick figure drawing of mommy and daddy on the refrigerator door. But at least you have a better idea from the pics than a painting of words will grant you.

Yeah it was a piece for X12. Altieri took his soft leather laceups and poured black latex over the front and let it pool on the floor and cool like that.

The gloved dress shirts sure looked amazing from the previously posted pics, I'm surprised they didnt get as much fanfare.

in profile like the guidi backward slopers
latex dipped and more like a house shoe
looked nice in dirty white kanga with the dipping forming a contrasting sole.....they were modelled with long johns.

ALso some semaphore knits
the long sleeved knit when laid flat showed one arm up and one arm down with various iterations between.
...and a partially gloved dress shirt with thumb socket only (crazy)
and a variation on the previously displayed pants-suit , this one however a long shirt with one leg hole (most crazy)
