I understand the knock off issue or even wanting the customer to base his/her opinion on the clothing in person but I don't know...I like looking at the pieces just as much! Ah well.

I agree that the pricing (somewhat) matches what goes into the clothing. It's small numbers, very hands on, and very personal. But, the prices have still been going up. No doubt it won't hinder most of his loyal customers.

I'm quite happy with the quality on my Doma/Rick pieces.

P.S. Not all of CCP's garments hold up either; Glued seam shirts fall apart, rubber bands snapping off boots, etc. etc. It happens, even to the best of them.

The secrecy of the new pictures ? They are hosted online.
The "VIP" SZ members, you know who they are, send them to each other through PM.
(not all of them are CCP customers but it doesn't seem to matter)

there are several reasons for the picture embargo and all of them are valid and good. just respect it. the pics that buyers take are for their own reference. when shops start receiving their shipments, pictures will flood the web and everyone will get their fill. besides, CCP is not the only one exercising stringent policy on this. can focus please remain on his work?

its not just about pattern knockoffs. its about the fabrics which he develops for each season. its the pieces which are very personal to him and he wants people to experience it in a very personal way...in person. if preview photos are to be released, than he wants it to be presented in accord with his vision...not some shitty point and shoot cam shots from a sales showroom.
