Sorry, i don't have the password to the CCP site, but i thought this was interesting:
UCA is the specialist creative arts university in the UK, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in Creative Arts, Business and Technology.
I wish i took this class, it focuses on curating art - in this case, it's the work of Carol.

That is rather interesting kompressorkev, that is my old university!
Shame they had a seminar about that 5 years after i graduated.
I shall try and contact a few friends that work there, and see if any papers are available from the seminar.
EDIT: have some one on the case!Last edited by SHYE_POSER; 05-28-2009, 07:40 AM.merz: your look has all the grace of george michael at the tail end of a coke binge.

Nice N! Thanks for posting!
I'm hoping that more shots of the footwear (non hiking boot pieces) get posted... especially the red boots. Stories have been told and now I gotta see them (they're visible in one of the shots above)!
The glove knit worn with the leather jacket above is actually constructed so the sleeves are up (imagine a person with their arms straight up) giving some underarm ruching when worn normally. Clever haha
The piece that I'll be looking out for this time is the invisiseam dress shirt. Hopefully it's not going to cost me a grand because I'd love to double up on that and get an invisiseam suit this year as well and become Kevin Bacon.
Carol's also doing a selvedge dress shirt too.
I'm a bit disappointed with the leathers though. I don't like how you can see the metal of the hook on the front placket. It cheapens it IMO.
Really can't wait to see this stuff hit stores so I can handle it and marvel at the genius work!Last edited by Chinorlz; 05-28-2009, 08:04 PM.www.AlbertHuangMD.com - Digital Portfolio Of Projects & Designs

I dunno, I think the overlock looks great, might have to see a zipped up picture though to be sure.
agree that glove knit construction sounds incredibly interesting, will definitely have to check that out. maybe not very comfortable, but thats ccp.
Also can't wait to see all the footwear, I think even the hiking boots look pretty cool, but the pic of all the boots hanging makes me really want to see the rest.Originally Posted by ProfMonitoff: "Then my friend's cat crapped on it and the dry cleaner couldn't fix it "

Also agree.
like the side pockets though, but he used those before.
And the assymetrical leather "fencing" jacket don't have those hooks i believe.
The red boots are absolutely gorgeous!
They ones i seen have a slightly longer shaft and a backwards tilt a bit like guidi backzips!I believe you can see a white version of them in one of the last pics from shelter.
I'm pretty sure all the footwear comes both dipped an nondipped.

I've grown interest in his invisiseam stuff. I'd love to own a jacket...

On those pics, leather jackets look exactly the same as SS 2008 : they're not overlocked but scar stitched and they have joints on the arms, the colour is dark olive. So nothing exciting there.
Dipped boots look mysterious, can't say yet if it's a hit or a miss. Will need to see them irl.
Hope there will be more new experimental stuff.Originally posted by blacksuitwow .. ccp bag is more better than guidi bag?
