how do most of you maintain your CCP shoes?
just got my sidezips from image and the booklet suggests machine washing and averts grease/cream
besides that it had the usual "polish with white cloth" routine that is common with cordovan (w/o grease)
I love these boots to no end.

as I recall, people have had less than perfect luck machine washing CCP boots.Hobo: We all dress up. We all put on our armour before we walk out the door, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re trying to be someone else.Comment

I remember that conversation (I was a part of it!), that had to do with shrinking boots by putting them in hot water overnight then by a heater...the double jointed boots. or was there another conversation about just washing them?
Glad you like the boots!
Also, not sure I ever followed up on the double jointed boot issue, but after having them unsuccessfully stretched at two shoe places, Firm shoe repair was able to stretch them out more than necessary to get them to fit.
