I bought some breadstick trousers from Darklands in NEU fabric. I read all jillion pages of this thread and no explanation of what NEU is like. Great discussion / debate though. Can we get a comprehensive breakdown of all the CCP fabrics and sticky it for reference?

fine after reading all 342 pages of this thread that was a response i should have expected. the whole SZ ethos that I should experience CCP first hand and create my own personal understanding of his work and his fabrics etc. etc.

the timing of your post just happened to be pretty hilarious as there has been an endless amount of questions about Poell's materials recently

obviously fabrics play an important part and I don't mean that they shouldn't be discussed, but all the questions about what is the code for this and that are a bit tiring.

I did get some new CCP fabric samples from Lazzari today and have to say I like them a lot.
There are two very cool fabrics in a very dark antracite almost black colour.
They are called CRISUIT (70/30 pure new wool / PVA cristalized) and CRIMILL (60/40 pure new wool / PVA cristalized).
I really do like the second since its quite stiff and seems very dense.
Also another fabric is called ELEFANT (50/50 cotton/pure wool) seems very thin and greyish.
