Finally able to see some new pieces!

Interesting concepts and fabrics as usual but from these (selected) images it seems like only a very small step forward with his concepts. The dead end seams process is intriguing to me and so the jeans/pants done in it with overlock is really appealing... I was hoping to see a totally new standout leather like the gloved leather from last season but alas, not in this image set.

really don't like the metal elements in the new collection...i think they could be gimmicky, rather than classic with an edge that poell does so well......

does anybody know what leather CORS-PTC is and how it compares to HOIL?

The line between art / fashion continues to be blurred. Can't say it's a good thing for the fashion side of it. And since this won't be displayed in a gallery, I'd say fail. Funny how Faust recently stated his clothing was for robots.

It'll be interesting to see the construction behind it all. How well can this all hold up with wear. And how the hell do you clean it? Rust remover? The gloves are the most wearable titanium piece so far, but even they are ridiculous. Minus the metal and I'd be seriously interested in them. Anyone remember the bullshit thread about those boots with the metal corner peeking out of the toe-box?

Funny how only these images are popping up. There's a slew of lovely, masterfully designed and tailored pieces in the collection. The dead-end over-lock jeans are very intriquing, but I have to say (after further review) they're excessively complex to the point of over-kill. Leathers are ace, though. A slimmed-down gloved leather... terrified of the price-tag.

anyway, I am not sure it bodes well that the best pieces continue to be special orders and reissues, though I will say the lack of being able to see much in the way of photos and the ever more unwearable approach leads me to believe he is producing art or theatre but by and large, not clothing to be worn day to day.

(To get back on topic, I'm not too excited by these snapshots - and I do sometimes feel that CCP is a little overrated - but I'll reserve judgement until I've seen them for myself.)

those finger gloves are kinda funny though. i think BLESS did knit finger gloves a while back
