Wow, now I knew that I lived the boots that I once owned from CCP. Just for a short walk in the gangway, but hey...

Thanks, No its from 2009 but still one of the most interesting (for better or worse) pieces of the collection. I'll post an image of the scarf coat from 2009. I've never actually seen it in the flesh so if anyone has i'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Reading the Wikipedia article on fiberglass application, and a bit confused how to apply it while retaining an intricate tailored shape.

fiberglass comes in many forms, typically it refers to combination of plastic and glass fibers (or "glass-reinforced plastic") rather than just actual glass fiber, which is moreoften used for insulation etc.

one of the common forms is in thin sheets that are somewhat reminiscent of coarse fabric. in normal use, for example for boats, car body parts, liquid tanks and whatever solid pieces, the sheets are laid onto a mold and coated with resin that basically "dissolves" into a solid form and becomes like a hard plastic.

I assume Carol is using the sheet form of glass-reinforced plastic and using a resin/coating that is less dissolving, so the fiberglass doesn't become a hard shell but remains somewhat like fabric.

a member here had the fiberglass coat, I think we had pictures somewhere

Amazing only if worn with matching boots, gloves and no trousers.
