So are we conceding that Carol's stuff is ugly and expensive, and still alluring?

The beauty of his work lies all in the details and "the information", but are they really "tangible"? Isn't that just mere mind-masturbation?

I see the pull-over leather as a failure in style, not concept or craftsmanship. I find it somewhat ridiculous. However I like the dead-end button-up.

My point about the two opposing styles; self-edge vs. dead-end refer to pattern making. I believe they were even displayed in different areas of the warehouse to help exemplify this difference. Yin and yang... in and out... etc..

having not seen new leathers in the flesh yet its hard to say if they are 'dead end' as in pics you often cant see the side seam,I have seen a back shot that suggests it,but if it dosent run around the garment it is not really true, as from what I can understand 'dead end' is a task in cutting a garment from a continious piece of fabric, and then darting to create shape.

Seenmy, does a cow in a field count as a leather in the flesh?

unfortunately, presumably due to the pricepoints, most stores haven't bought a lot of the selvedge pieces, and some of them might never see the racks.

Atelier has a full suit on the site as of now, but those are the only pieces I have seen pop up so far!

Over 7K for the suit set.
                            Melt-lock code is GM/2612B WIM/10 (Jacket) and PM/2661 WIM/10 (Breadsticks).
