Liquid rubber can be purchased on amazon. It is intended to add a coat of rubber to tools that have been stripped of their rubber handles. It will stick to almost anything. I have several containers to play around with, just for my own amusement. In fact, if one was so inclined, they could probably re-dip their CCPs once they "wear through" the initial drips.

Haha, I guess I set myself up for that one.

I mean comparatively to other CCP derbies. If I buy, I wouldn't be getting a great deal, I'm wondering if I should pass and go with another season for the same price. I haven't heard much about the SS10 ones but have heard good things about other ones.......

i can't comment directly about those, but I have the 2010 bison derbies which I really like. the leather is thick and not scarred. i find the shape to be slightly more narrow than previous seasons. i don't think quality is going to differ a whole lot from season to season with CCP.

first think crossed in mind is Max von Sydow from Bergman's 50's 60's films like Through a glass darkly, The virgin spring, and of course the Seventh Seal.

Does anyone own anything in the SURFACE fabric, specifically the high collar coat from this season? Curious about the weight, texture, and if it's physically restrictive at all.
