Mike, Don't know about SURFACE, but if it is anything like WFACE it will be bullet proof and sort our any deportment problems.

Apparently it's even heavier than WFACE...

Is it for an arctic or an antarctic mission ?
Heavier than wface - I get your concern about restrictive movement.

Haha, I think it's heavier, but it might be softer and more pliable.

SURFACE is just a reversible version of WFACE. On one side is WFACE 10 and the other side is WFACE 9.

They look and feel identical. WFACE is 25/75 ramie/wool and SURFACE I think is 20/80. Price is the same.

Not sure if I understand what you mean when you say SURFACE is the reverse of WFACE. While I've seen and tried on WFACE in person, I've only seen photos of SURFACE, don't see how they are the same, especially when the composition is different.

                WFACE/9 and WFACE/10 are 2 separate fabrics.

Then you have SURFACE/9 and SURFACE/10. These are from the same piece of fabric, the front side is SURFACE/9 and the back is SURFACE/10

                SURFACE/9 = WFACE/9
                SURFACE/10 = WFACE/10

I don't know the reasoning behind it but they're definitely the same, you don't really notice the 5% difference. If I was pushed I would say WFACE maybe was slightly tighter. Perhaps they're just being economical and figured out how to kill 2 birds with 1 stone?

I thought there was quite a difference between 9 and 10 visually as well, not just in the way one is black and one is grey.

Hu? I don't get it...you mean the fabric is on the front side of another composition than on the back side? So it's two different fabrics attached or woven on each other?

The numbers 9 and 10 just refer to the color rather than fabric composition. So I'm guessing that it's double-faced fabric where the color just differs.

So the only difference between wface and surface is +-5% wool/ramie?
Did you get and like the larger dick?

                        Thus, making it different fabrics...

yes, if you had a sample of each with no labels on them you would not be able to tell which was which.

using the reverse side of the fabric as a different fabric seems to be a new poellian device. same thing being done with leather: there are boots in CUL horse and also LUC which is its reverse.
