I believe it's the overwhelming time it takes to cultivate new ideas and put them into product form. And since this last "collection" was so huge they'll be in production for awhile. Can't blame him. I'd sit on my ass... if I existed.

Anyway, I heard end of 13' or 14. Keep them special orders coming.

My sneaks are holding up perfectly well, no worries at all about the soles breaking.
I heard one or two stories but that might just have been bad luck, also CCP will help out for sure if any problems should occur.

I'd be curious to know more about this. Not so much about Poell but his former assistant and any info on the direction she is headed.

Even if you could get a 2 meter lace, there's no way you could re-lace without some kind of special instrument.....

You should have kept the classic you sold a while back. These look great with the classic horse jacket ;-)

Whoa, how long did it take to get to this level? The rubber underneath the black coating on my pair are a clear brown gumsole. At least from the small spots exposed that I can see.

Enders: The sides of the tongue are sewn to the shoes via a gusset. I suppose the best way to relace is to use a straightened out paper clip with a hooked end... But we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

still. i've grown to love these damn things. grotesque and creative and dark and lovely.

edit - thread going too fast now i get it...

I remember this discussion, re-lacing them is a pain in the ass but not too difficult.

I just used a pair of tweezers to grip the end of the lace and guide it through the loop in the tongue.
