Actually, I think it's a mistake which is the maker didn't catch the sneakers when he dip them

i think this massive layer of latex makes the sneakers unbreathable, which is not very good.

Possibly, the designer made first a similar pair with drip rubber on this level, as sometimes the soft-core comes form the hard-core. Anyway that is only an assumption
