never delved much into the brand, but after reading this I like what they stand for, even if the whole biker aesthetic is not for me.
To have your own factory and produce in America as he said is not easy, but I respect them for doing that. I also like the idea of a family run business, which is part of the reason I also like the structure of Rick's business too..............“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Thanks for posting the interview.
I met Richard Stark at an event in one of their stores. He couldn't have been kinder or more genuine. At one point, a couple of rowdy children were jumping on their furniture (Chrome Hearts leather couch with silver studs) and I thought he was going to scold them. Instead, he walked over and actually started playing with them.
In regard to their pricing, yes it is high, but the quality is second to none. I'm not American, but I appreciate that it is all made in the U.S.

Really enjoy all of my Chrome Hearts stuff, surprisingly (received the 'Fuck You' ring as a gift and have a keychain from them). Looking to pick up two of the heavier dagger charms to replace the zipper pulls on the arms of my Lad Musician jacket.

thought about resurrecting this last night when I was trying to go splitsies on a CH silver pizza slicer with Faust, but he wouldn't ball.

I agree, underdog - the LA story is stunning! I look forward to the NY big store, whenever that opens...Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
