It's nothing wrong with the cut at all. What's wrong is what you are expecting of it. It's not a jacket that is made to look super skinny and it doesn't work at all in that outfit. It need more thin layering underneath, and some long boots to take the view away from the belly.

To say that it looks like it were made for pregnant women is just a bit hars Chant. It's like saying Damir Doma is made for nomads living in the desert.

^it's actually worse here, because the jersey is padded and actually less supple than the leather version, so it just looks like a bulky tangled mess....it's really not doing Geraldine any justice.

I agree about it not flattering her. Usually she looks good in just about everything.
But I think that's just the nature of the jacket; Kind of like all of those tops from Junya for Fall.

Agree with other posters in that it is not the most flattering piece when worn. That piece shown in the two pics draws attention to the person's mid-section with all the knotting and overlapping of fabrics.
