I wouldnt be surprised if raising prices on more extravagant / overly decadent pieces would help them sell. A lot of people in this economy who were previously purchasing designer clothing would prefer / can more easily justify just not buying anything for a couple months then splurging on one crazy expensive "investment" piece. For me, this is totally understandable. I bet a lot of people here on sz are starting to do this more than they would have before, anyway.

I ran a search and was surprised that nothing came up for Chadd Curry, the infamous NY Rick Owens SA?? Could someone direct me to it if there is past discussion -- this guy is completely dreamy. i would assume there is. if not, enough with skateboarders and Aniston this guy needs some legitimate press ( I'm looking at you, Scout.)

that's insane!! I just watched that movie for the first time last night, and thought the exact same thing! Gaultier did some fairly interesting costumes for that movie, eh? I liked the woman in black who was part of the opera singer's entourage.

Does anyone plan to buy the huge beach towel, for 2 maybe 3 persons, sold at Palais Royal? It's illustrated by a photo taken by Rick representing the mascot of hot-dog firm. Useless and funny.
