Samurai all the way. The hoodless version is so much better than the hooded.

of the 4 shots on komakino one would naturally deduce
the hoodless is superior
however all presuppose that the wearer never undo the collar
the only look that IMHO works
from that point on undoing is a wish that would make only the regretful savilate.
first season high collar will never be equalled

I did not even think of closing the collar when trying it on - I happen to like the sweeping collars and it looked good open to my eyes (Fuuma and DHC were there as well, they can attest). Still, you raise a good point - let's see what addict says.

neck doesnt drape at all since it is so stiff, it just stands like on viagra...

what do you guys think about the fit, too big? we dont have a smaller size but i am thinking about let a tailor tighten the sleeves a bit and maybe also in the chest a touch. or is it good? I mean the shoulders are perfectly tight...any suggestions would help. and any critics too!!!

I personally would like the fit slightly slimmer through the arms; but with that said, it still looks good as is.

I for one would not be confident enough to let any of the tailors I know touch that jacket.

And I second the call to see the jacket open!

I second Faust! If you just tuck the velcros on, you can leave the collar completely open. It looks amazing! Ok, the velcro thing might be an issue, but honestly. It looks so stunning, i dont care...and it works..at least till now. I will try to get a pic with the collar open...

Ok, i have worn out the samurai yesterday and today and after this short time i can already say, its
Collar open, collar closed...it just looks stunning and i must say it draws a lot of attention. I noticed several couples just stop walking and looking like they couldnt believe what they saw...and i dont think they necessarily thought how awful it looks...its just a killer piece and i will and want fully recommend it to anyone who thought about getting it. Yes, admittedly there can be some improvements done, and yes, maybe (!) next season he will bring out a better new version, but thats not for sure and i wouldnt want to wait so long anyway...4 of 6 jackets are gone at darklands...and you can trust me that i am not telling this just to improve the sales!
