i've noticed some of the new RO releases are made in a cotton/ramie blend. 66/33 (i think order is correct)
how well does this hold up in winter?
or is it better to stick with wool?
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.

Cotton/ramie is good for mild winter weather, anything warmer than 40 degrees.
With warm layers you'll be fine, but by itself its not a very warm fabric. I used to wear a Julius cotton ramie blazer all the time but with heavy knits underneath to keep me warm. The blend is awesome, you'll love it.
I want to get a nice rick owens leather but am abit mixed up by the options.
Looking at the different places online, the antarsia jacket seems to vary greatly in price. Is this because of the leather/finish.
From reading here people say that the calf skin is the best over the lamb. Is calf usually more expensive? Would it be 400 euro more expensive?
Money is not so much a problem, but I would like to pay the correct price.
/\ Pierce, hopefully others who are more knowledgeable will reply...and have you contacted Hobo and checked out what he offers at Pollyanna?
Based on my own RO high collar in lamb compared to other leather that I have in calf, I personally prefer the lamb. The variations in the type of leather, and treatments will contribute to the price differences.

If you can't see the work past the fucking taped seams , cold dye wash or raw hems - perhaps you shouldn't really be looking at all.
treatment will probably affect the price, also different stores have different prices, shouldn't be €400 in differencies though.. but you'll never know.
Had a look on polyanna, they have the intarsia jacket, at 1400 euro.
That puts a further spanner in the works :)
Looking at it, the one for 1950 is just priced too high.
I'd have no problem in going to paris and buying from Rick Owens store there. Are the prices at his shop similiar to those above?
