Hey, all I know is that we had the most beautiful handmade leather backpacks, which retailed for around £300, depending on size. The leather was beautiful, like Augusta boots! They sold so quickly that I didn't even get chance to buy one for myself.
Unfortunately we don't carry them anymore because they are very unreliable as a company. The bags in question were delivered a full year late!
The only place that I know for sure still had them was L'Eclaireur, but I have a feeling that he may have fallen out with Armand too, as he wasn't at Tranoi last fashion week.
If you're interested I can keep my eye out for you and PM you if I hear anything.
I want to get a nice rick owens leather but am abit mixed up by the options.
Looking at the different places online, the antarsia jacket seems to vary greatly in price. Is this because of the leather/finish.
From reading here people say that the calf skin is the best over the lamb. Is calf usually more expensive? Would it be 400 euro more expensive?
Money is not so much a problem, but I would like to pay the correct price.
1750 euro (blistered lamb?)
1490 euro (lamb)
1950 euro
1480
Hey, every store marks up the same percentage, to my knowledge. The price difference sometimes comes from the fluctuations in currency exchange rate at the time of delivery, but usually stores keep their eyes on each other and adjust the price if necessary. The only store that doesn't do this is the RO store in London (I don't know about the other RO stores), which always appears to be way more expensive than everyone else!
But the main reason that you can't find a consistent price is because there are so many differences in leather, finish and style (there are maybee 100 variations in every collection) meaning that stores rarely have the exact same garment as other stores. So, I recon whatever you choose, you won't get ripped off as long as you buy from an independent and not direct from an RO flagship store.
If you need any other help just let me know. I'll do my best.

Usually the RO NYC store seems much more expensive than others... but then again I've never compared their prices with Barney's prices, so maybe it's normal for New York.
Fuck you and your viewpoint, I hate this depoliticized environment where every opinion should be respected, no matter how moronic. My avatar was chosen just for you, die in a ditch fucker.
The oiled calfskin Bauhaus jacket looks amazing...I know i belong to the minority here, but i still prefer the new oiled calfskin to the lamb...at least on pics.
Enviormental freaks, move away! My scarf will travel around the world and back!
