i really like that two tone, but if this pair has the smaller tounge,then i dont know..i kind of like the o.g longer tounge keeps the pants tucked in place and makes me look taller. lol

quick question (apologies if this is common knowledge): why do the online retailers' product titles differ so greatly from the ones rick himself gave the pieces, for example the "deconstructed double layer short sleeve tee" is titled the "classic rick owens teeshirt" on Antonioli. Is that done for a reason? be it legality or marketing or whatever

Don't think there is a reason. I think it just evolves naturally, I do think Elephant Boots came from here and the term for the new sneakers I have heard from official side is garbage bag boots.
