i bought these drkshdw jeans. have used them some... when i looked at them some day ago it looked as if they had been in a fucking massacre. they have ripped on like 7 places, and not the seams. havnt had this problem with other ro jeans. is this common? i know theyre suppesed to look a bit used and all, maybe they even should look like this? but doesnt look to good imo : )
who should i contact if i want to complain? bought them from leclaireur, them, ro store? not to bothered by it but a friend thinks i should contact someone...
aigreculteur: what do you mean? bacause of that they shouldnt have any quality standards or... ?
heirloom: thanks, will try with that : ) and yeh, the ass is very visible hah, soon there wont be anything left on the pants protecting it in the cold winter : (
are they in "hog" wash? i have plenty of drkshdw jeans and most are actually pretty durable. nice heavy denim. but the hog wash in particular is super fragile. i think the treatment/wash has deteriorated the fabric. mine are falling apart. and the tears are of the fabric itself, not seams coming undone or anything like that. they need to be babied and never washed.
contact the store and they may contact ro direct for a replacement pair if you can demo that the tears are due to manufacturer error. maybe...
dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective
how is it possible that even the jeans fuck up so fast. I've never owned a pair of jeans that have gone bust on me like that, ever, from Dior Homme to Dundas Street. This is suicide-inducing.
The deep black waxed jeans seem to hold up quite well though, although I don't get that much wear from them these days since my _7 twisties are quite similar and I prefer them. But yeah they actually feel quite strong when I wear them.
