Sharing this sentiment completely - don't own much Rick and never really have, but always felt more intrigued by simpler pieces. Not sure quite how to word it, but the 'excesses' present in current collections seem less present.

Now he is much closer to the conditional futurism then even GP for me. perhaps someone will say that I'm wrong, but Rick appears greater and greater dissonance between the proposed concept and it's stylistic execution, which was not observed before.
