No offense to Mr. Owens but some of that stuff looks like props for a makeshift haunted house somewhere in the midwest.

I can see how it reflects his aesthetic on some level but overall, smelted bowls and an ashtray that looks like a disused car part...describing the collection as excessive seems pretty fair.

My interior sensibilities are closer to panton and saarinen but then again, I live in a specific kind of modern home and not in a castle in Romania.

At least with old italian furniture, the materials and craftsmanship and style justify the price to a degree. I'm all for paying for someone's vision as long as that vision inspires me or is compatible with mine.
