Possibly, although the little I know about the both of them is what's readily available on wiki, sz and talking to people at maxfields.
I've been to le deux a few times but it was when it was owned by SBE or something I believe. The crowd was definitely not one that I would associate with Rick and Michele, i.e. champagne sparklers and electro house while flo-rida and kesha spray bottles on each other.

Don't feel bad. I've met all 3 of them, yet have never set foot inside that legendary spot!

So I'm hoping a Rick specialist can help me out here. I purchased this yesterday as soon as it popped up on Rakuten; Exploder Parka in Black that's XS without a ridiculous price tag and in good condition. I couldn't pass up on $630. However just out of curiousity, without looking at the size tag, can anyone maybe tell me what material it looks like?

I'm hoping moleskin... but I'd be fine with any cotton. Nylon would be a little bummer but beggars can't be choosers, I won't complain.

Moleskin is cotton, definitely hard to tell the difference between cotton and nylon based on shitty photos. Also, not sure why nylon would be a bummer as it is a great fabric specially for outwear.

Edit: Based on the fading on some of the seams I would say cotton as nylon typically holds dye really well.

Not sure this is the right thread for this question though.

I have the current season DRKSHDW one. While you're right that it's great for outerwear, I just prefer the look nor feel of nylon. I don't hate nylon though, it would just be nice if this one were different from the one I currently own. Thanks so much for the input given the crap photos they provided though.

Also my apologies if this is the wrong thread; I was going to post in a small questions thread but since this is about Rick, it seemed appropriate also.

neostrifeX - I know it seems logical to put a Rick-related question in the Rick thread, but questions about fabrication & such belong in our Small Questions thread in the Shopping and Personal Style forum.

The Designers' threads are more to introduce new info, celebrate their work with unique/relevant visuals, and the random quirk that may encourage a dialogue. It's more about showcasing their work than resolving our individual issues with their work. I hope the difference makes sense. :)

When in doubt, PLEASE, PLEASE read the rules about how to effectively post so you know exactly where to go. Deleted posts are no fun and waste everybody's time.

that parka is 100% cotton I have the same one in the same size and i had the long version as well, never seen the tag for the moleskin one but I think moleskin is shinier and harder to come by and looks like 10% cooler but probably costs twice as much. I love my parka and I love that it's easy to clean and I can wear the fuck out of it. That's a good price for sure for the best size as these fit a sz big. This will make u put that drkshdw up for sale for sure, as that's just a poor clone of this.

I was just at the Rick Owens Aoyama store a couple of weeks ago got a picture with his infamous statue.

There was a really cute salesgirl there too and she commented on my eyebrows because I had them dyed orange along with my hair then I realized she also had orange eyebrows and we both laughed.

Overall the store had a ton of space and atmosphere was really subtle.

Which was what spun my daydream for a Revillon duvet cover over in Random Fashion Thoughts the other day. I'd settle for a damned pelt to throw on the bed if Rick was the one running with scissors for that..

But you can get them from Rick too. Not sure if they are part of the furniture or Hun, but I used to bed my newborn on a £70k mink blanket while I was shopping in the store. I had to settle for faux mink for my sofa...
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.
