This is exactly how fashion design works. It's how Rick has always done this, and if you go back to Strutter you can see him doing the same thing to make a range of jumpsuits and dresses from a small handful of blocks.

Oh my. Alright, I'm going to make this a short one, or at least try.

No one is arguing that this isn't how Rick has always done it. His distinct aesthetic is what drew me in in the first place, and that he is a deviant who deviates from that core at a snail's pace is why I stay. However, when from that snail shell starts to emerge a subset of ancillary things, at a certain point it just gets silly for me, and I turn away.

Strutter was indeed what I was referencing (I prefer to call it his Nuns Gone Wild collection). And because I own each of the garments you posted in the above 4 pics, can you maybe understand why I don't want the swimsuit version? It's fine if others do. And of course, they will.

As for the babe in the first pic, I'm not so interested in what the trend du jour is (though I know you were just being your sassy-pants self in your remark, which I about you). Personally, beachwear is at the bottom of my list. But if ever there was a category, this is one where for me, less is definitely more.

Now, who wants to go to the beach?!
