Looking at close up photos of the shoes, I'm very satisfied with how this iteration of Rickdidas things turned out. Interested to see what the full spectrum of colorways will be.

i personally am growing to really hate that adidas ever approached rick with each "new" offering that look like raf did them 10 years ago.
edit (this was posted in the rick ss15 thread but should be discussed here):
i feel like the only thing rick about any of the adidas collabs is that they have "funky avant garde" soles attached to basic designs. these look like spring blade wrestling boots and i wouldnt be surprised if they are just that under that labia flap.

My first reaction to the show was definitely just repulsion, and from a RTW standpoint I don't think there's anything I like here. But my second thought is that it's just Rick not taking the whole runway thing too seriously. He's playing with geometry and colors and going in a different direction from military and sportswear. Just my 2c.

And stemcell, thanks for posting the showroom footage. Old Rick still manages to make me swoon a bit. I just enjoy seeing and wearing his early work so much.lavender menace

I had to Google spring blade, since I don't usually pay much attention to adidas's standard shoes, and man, that was so, so disappointing. The adidas collaboration had potential on paper for those who are tired of seeing geos and ramones as the default Rick sneakers. On paper, unique Rick sneaker designs that change every season, fun! In practice, eh.
I still think the show itself as a spectacle was solid, although at this point the only thing I can see myself buying is the harness. I like seeing something different from such a creative guy than the same old pod shorts and extended tops with some zippered leathers. The only problem is that out doesn't fit into my extant wardrobe that I've put a lot of time and money into. Hopefully the whatever actually ends up in stores is more appealing.
