How about posting the collection so we can all discuss?

SZ users, I know chances are minimal to non-existent they´ll ask him, but this is our chance to find out more about the production in Moldova.

Let´s all submit "Why did you move part of your production to Moldova?" and "Are your Moldovian employees paid equitably?" or something like that.
Just a bump, this is happening today:

FWIW, I think the equitable pay question is much more important than the why, which is kind of neither here nor there.

Favourite question and answer so far:

cl0sed-curt4ins asked: how do you separate your work at Dior from your own brand and then manage to make two completely different collections ?

              I LOVE YOU.

I've always wanted a male equivalent of that jacket. Ribbed sleeves, big drapey asymmetrical collar in blistered lamb, but cut in the body like the intarsia.

I think we've had a discussion about this and the consensus was that it'd be too feminine.

I used to absolutely adore it, but now my glance passes over it. The RO tourists have killed the appeal. But, objectively, this jacket should be in the fashion pantheon without a doubt.

On the right woman, the version with the "spine" patches on the arms in all black is absolutely lovely.

You're right though. Both the near-ubiquity of it along with the innumerable knockoffs, it just doesn't strike me as before. That being said, I think both of those aspects go to show just how iconic it is.

I stopped by the Rick Owens LA Store, and to sum it up, it's a beautiful work of art. The stock is incredible, the architecture, the sculptures and displays, the staff are all friendly and personable. It's a huge treat for us Angelinos to have a flagship store like this, let alone a RO store. There is nothing out here like it.
