I don't think it repudiated anything. There will always be someone waiting in line. Rick owns a part of the company. But it's not even about that - I'm saying his name isn't even floated. I find that interesting - not good or bad, just interesting.

Which house could you envision offering him the reins?

Unfortunately, I don´t get to touch a lot of Rick leathers in person.
        Thanks in advance!
It's not fused, the lambskin is the outer layer and the neoprene is beneath it. These jackets are awesome, they are probably the warmest leathers rick has done.

Would you recommend this kind over a shearling jacket?
I´m afraid neoprene would be too warm.

I prefer the shearling for New York as organic material usually adapts to temperature changes better, in my opinion it depends on how erratic the climate you're going to be wearing it in is.

Winter in Germany – was´t that cold the last couple of years.
I´d come along fine with my thick Rick wool turtleneck and a regular leather jacket, but I want something slightly thicker so I can wear less underneath.

              Thanks for the help, y'all!

I agree with this, Rick has voiced that he wouldn't ever join his brand under a conglomerate and I would assume that every fashion house takes that he wouldn't want to work for a house under a conglomerate either.

Personally I really dislike the feel of those neoprene jackets, but thats just my take. I would take a shearling over them any day. I don't own either one though, this is just based on handling similar ones at the showroom or in stores.

I have a rick shearling and neoprene and I would say my shearling is warmer. They both do the job though I would say go with whichever you like the look of best.

I can see how this would work -- I've come across many Balenciaga pieces that had a borderline Alien aesthetic. Now that you mention it the Men's SS 16 collection has some serious spiritual kinship with Rick, and the silhouettes would lend themselves to his tailoring. Nice.
