the new "aviator" doesn't feel very substantial, the material is kind of fluffy, it fits super short and at least the colour they had at the showroom was bad, a sort of a doodoo brown. there are some way more interesting pieces, if you're looking for an aviator I'd try and find an older season one."AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. wahhhh that's really sad I was talking to owner of the only store holding MA+ in Zurich last week about special-ordering a SS09 Aviator when he started talking about the new one.. I thought the wool-aviator sounded really interesting... too bad.Isn't the description "boiled wool" supposed to describe a more felted-like and compact fabric? Sounds like a contradiction to "fluffy" or perhaps it just didn't turn out the right way?

yes boiled wool is sort of felted, but if I remember correctly it was kind of fuzzy, I prefer the wool used on some other pieces.

damn that double layered coat for fw is absolutely beautiful!
I like how he's "cleaning up" his bags in the sense that it's fabric/leather instead of a single raw piece, but at the same time I liked the roughness of his original style too.
