I love this presentation. There's something very whimsical, playful and youthful about it. I love the colors of the pieces against the colors of the books on the bookcase. It really puts his work in a light, for me, that most buys don't convey. I know it's been mentioned before how his use of color fades to black due to how he's bought, but this really makes me aware of how true that is.

Ahh. Great shots and beautiful footwear. But now that eckblk has pointed out to me that his footwear generally does not have good year welting I can't not fixate on that every time I look at one :/ Irrational probably, but it's how my mind works.

A + V (across 5) - here are a few images from maurizio's A + V project that i jacked from Lift. i have no info about this so if anyone can chime in i'd love to hear it. not sure if it was to commemorate 5 yrs of independence, 5 fingers on a hand (this project emphasizes "handmade"), no idea...

The top image and the 5 detail shots are part of his made to measure line, 5 iconic pieces, special leather. I know l'eclaireur offers this as well... the other images are from the FW11 collection, that grape leather shirt is insanity btw...

i think the cdiem, sartoria comparisons are overdone. i also think that in a practical sense they are pointless. cdiem and sartoria are long gone and altieri is basically in hiding. grandma's quality is top notch and in todays market his work is still very unique.
