I love seeing the same (but newer iteration) of the shoes, bags and wallets. I think he's always got something interesting and beautiful going on in that department. The bags on the previous page not only look sick, but are also very unique compared to what other designers have to offer. Shoes and boots...Amadei's always a winner there. Every season.

That being said, I don't quite feel the same way about the clothing anymore too.

^ Agreed Peasant. I think everyone secretly just waits for FW with MA+.

I am a big fan of Amadei's classic and recurrent pieces, but I feel that some of his refinements over the seasons have been for the worse - e.g. the aviators and some leather shirts / jackets are now far too short! The earlier stuff seemed to be more wearable.

Although from the below pics, it looks like the torso length of the new aviator is back to a more standard 'below the bellybutton' level.

Peasant. Agreed on FW vs SS, but I actually feel that is the case with most designers I like. Ph is another good example of where AW rocks vs SS

Agreed on the bags and footwear. The derby below is killa but unfortunately with an even more Killa price tag.

I'm glad he's gone back to the thicker sole and slighter chunkier toe shape, wasn't really a fan of the "softsole" and slimmer shape of the 2011SS releases.

gotta have both. soft sole and slimmer shape made for perfect summer shoes.

that is if you're scared of sandals. like me. although he does have a different sandal for men thats a little less birkenstocky but i don't have the pic. sorry...

Was the sandal pic a women's shoe? I quite liked it

Love the materials and craftsmanship on the shoes and garments.

I've never felt like bags are his strong suit but I seem to be in the minority on this issue.

Many misses but enough truly great garments that it doesn't seem to matter.

One day I will own an aviator.

The above grey boot is stunning. Cleaner and more refined than the Guid/Augusta aesthetic I love but no denying the power...

handled the FW11 footwear today at Sydney's in Toronto - unbelievable! the hidden lace boot (shown above in grey reverse cow) in vachetta leather is great, as are the side tie derbies and the one-piece folded derby - both in black vachetta. the folded one-piece is probably my favorite from this collection, both because it's a new design and because they look sick as fuck. the double sole on the hidden lace boot is nailed on - pretty cool. insoles look to have a little more cushion, with a new stamp - also pretty cool.

How do you guys like the fit of my new CCP suit?

Doesn't look like the aviator to me.

Totally different (and dare I say better?) cut, yeah. The chest pockets and hood definitely remind of the aviator though.
